TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA
WITH MAGGIE BARFOOT
This is a beginner's yoga class helping create body-mind-spirit connection and awareness, while also learning helpful tools to use in everyday sober life.

Throughout this class we learn a trauma informed mindfullness practice you can add to your own recovery program, and learn to laugh a little through the tough parts in life.
​
Mats are available or bring your own and come join us for some community healing fun.

About Maggie Barfoot
Maggie is a Colorado native. Yoga has been a powerful part of her journey to a quiet mind and love for herself. Her yoga practice has helped her build a connection to her body-mind-spirit, releasing anxiety, depression, and helping her feel good in her sober skin. After choosing a life of recovery, she struggled to sit with her thoughts and emotions. Yoga has helped give her a calm mind and body.

She has completed 200-hour trauma informed yoga teacher training and has a degree in psychology. Along with experience working at a treatment center for women experiencing trauma.

She has a passion for sharing the beautiful gift of yoga, helping others feel safe and centered in their bodies.
